Lightyear Plans

Lightyear has recently launched “Plans”, a feature that allows investors to personalise and automate their long-term investing - directly within the Lightyear app.

Users can create their own tailored set of stocks and ETFs, assign percentage allocations, and set up recurring contributions (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly). It’s an easy way to apply discipline and dollar-cost averaging to your investments, without needing to manually trade every month.

There are no pre-made portfolios (yet) or investment advice. Plans are fully self-directed. In that sense, Lightyear plans are not the “classic” robo-advisor where you’re assigned an investment portfolio - in this case you’ll have to create the portfolio by yourself.
